Men are divorcing but they don't want to marry divorcees!

Men are dying yet the ones who are alive don't want to marry widows, who will marry your own widow after your death?

Umar bin khattab said;

If Allâh should grant me a long life, I will make sure that NO widow in iraq will need any man to support her.

Unfortunately, umar ibn khattab radiAllâhu anhu was stabbed in salâh just four days after he made that great statement.

During the time of the companions, widows and divorcees in madina would be bombarded with proposals after their iddah periods, its as if people were helping them to calculate it.

The proposals would be much that they would be in a dilemma as to which one to choose, so they were not made to feel like they were burdens or liabilities to the society!

Today, the fear of poverty and the weakness in our tawakkul makes us abandon our sisters to themselves!

Some men would not even accept the proposal of widows/divorcees even at gun point.

To the people who have firm reliance in Allâh, recession is just a word!

May Allâh ease the affairs of the widows and divorcees, amin.

The sisters should also be soft(that is why you are a "untha" ) with their husbands if they decide to take in a widow or divorcee as a seond wife

Why did Allah not promise Divorcees and widows to those who go to heaven? Why did he promise them virgins?

All women in paradise would be transformed into youthful virgins, regardless of the ages at which they left this world.

For me, even if they don't get marriage proposals on time. They should have access to the Muslim purse (mosque's donations). Spending on widows and orphans are one of the recommended uses of zakat.

All mosques and societies that zakat are paid to must make this available to them.

If we ideally paid zakat to our closest mosque, we should endeavor to read the mosque's account and ensure widows orphans etc in that area have been taken care of.
