Dismayed by the Gunners’ defeat to Liverpool on Saturday, Osun State governor wants the Frenchman to vacate his position

Governor Rauf Aregbesola wasted no time in sending his farewell message to Arsene Wenger after Arsenal's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday.

Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum were on target as they sent the Gunners to the fifth spot in the English Premier League log.

The seasoned politician who is a staunch fan of the Emirates Stadium outfit expressed his displeasure with the managerial tactics of the Frenchman after his team bowed to the Reds.

He took to Twitter to have a say on the future of Wenger after the humiliation at Anfield, though football administrator Ayo Omidiran has a different opinion.
Arsenal welcome Bayern Munich to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday for the return fleg of the Champions League Round of 16 encounter. The first leg ended 5-1 in favour of the Germans.
