The 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards slimed plenty of celebs on Saturday night — starting with Demi Lovato. One of the main reasons to tune in to the Kids Choice Awards on Nickelodeon is to see your favorite stars get covered in slime. At this year’s 3oth anniversary edition , which took place at USC’s Galen Center on March 11 2017, four of the top names in entertainment got gooey. These kudos, voted on by Nickelodeon viewers, honor the year’s biggest movies, TV programs and music artists, with the show gaining infamy thanks to their slime stunts that cover celebs in green goo. ET caught up with Cena ahead of the awards show, where he said he wasn’t “afraid to make a fool” of himself, and dished all about getting the goo! Among the big winners were Finding Dory, which picked up 3 awards, including one for "Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie," which went to Ellen DeGeneres.
