Spent close to 500,000 naira doing a professional masters in Ahmadu Bello University. Currently enrolled in an academic masters in university of Jos.......so far.....I have spent close to 200,000 naira.
Education is good only if you have the means.....Good luck all!!!

I keep wondering why people keep discouraging people from doing Masters. The truth remains that we have different reasons for embarking on higher studies. It is not all about getting job in multinational firm. It should be about passion.
Some people I know are running Masters programme because they have interest in academics. Everything is not all about money.
If you have a good reason for doing a masters course, go on and never be discouraged.

How good of you to ask before embarking on this journey. Unizik fees is about 150k + 150x. The x represents the number of years it takes you to get the task completed.

Coming to futa, my dear people will say 500k at least, just blif u gonna spend close to 1 million either u like it or not.. Federal university of technology akure ..form is like 30, acceptance is 50, and school fees is 150 and is twice that is 300. Project, house rent , transport, books, donations in class for welfare, u gonna buy things for lecturer u know now, practicals, bro budget 1 million.... I was told to hold like 500k but now an spending close to 600k and I av just started my project... Get use to it

1. Scholarship to study abroad
2. After getting a Job and I want to attain the highest rank, I wil just be working and do part time MSc.

If not for these mentioned reasons, then MSc ain't for me

Come to think of it, is education not overhyped?
After all my struggles in university and after graduating with over 4.0 GP, no job for almost a year now.
Why the hell should I consider MSc?
To me MSc is a waste of resources.

Most entry level position demands Bsc and HND, so why the hell should I waste my hard earned money cramming some irrelevant formulas and wasting my time?

Even the so called lecturing job is nepotism itself.

While some of my folks are wasting time applying for MSc, I started MMM with small amount which I borrowed from my parents and today I have over a million naira to boast of within one year of passing out from NYSC (Glory be to God) and by the special grace of God, I plan starring up a business with it, some people are even advising me to waste it on MSc, impossible.

MSc is good, but don't do it because of job, you will be disappointed
