Since the killing of one lecturer in the department of accounting in unical last Friday, the city of calabar have known no peace as nearly 10 other persons have been killed at various other places across calabar.

At abt 11am yesterday some cultists invaded malabor republik to carry out reprisal attack on opposition Cult members in unical. This resulted to loss of life as a result of gunshot in the hand of an opponent. This action left malabites and malabresses with no choice but to run for their dear lives. Not quite long after the incident, the chief security officer arrived at the seen and took assessment of the scene. Reports claim that three culprits have been arrested thus far by JTF.

This has led to the chief security officer of Unical advising that, Hall 8 and 9 (female hostels) should be close by 8:30 pm while Hall 4 and 5 should be close by 9pm. He also advised students to read at home and avoid night classes (reading inside the school at night) until the present security challenges are resolved, telling the students, "The security of your life is more important than your BSc."

The Calabar that l live is peaceful but only hot for those who have sold their soul to the devil. I ran into them in 8 miles while it was hot here and believe me after 1 or 2 questions l was asked to go. I wasnt afraid cus am guilty of nothing.
