Bros u should know this type of pedestrian bridge is not possible in hot weather condition in Nigerian, better still u don't do such where there is epileptic power supply and poor security personnel in place.

Is Dubai not in hot weather condition ?. No need for power supply, the use of solar panels can provide free electricity for
the pedestrian bridge

Keep saying that to console yourself.
Maybe your father was the Oba that signed the formal agreement / treaty for the British to take over Lagos, or maybe he was sitting beside Oba Akitoye's table when he signed it. grin

Meanwhile your overhyped onitsha does not even come close to Ibadan in importance.

Like Ogonis abi?

Instead of you to be talking about how Ogoniland can progress, you are busy comparing two cities in places far ahead of Ogoniland.

Does ogoniland even have a town, talkless of a city?
Mind you, I have been to Bodo and Bori.. very backward places.

I love it like die. Too much Jo.

But i want to ask - who made it a law for bridges not to be wide like a car bridge.

Because Lagos has so much leg traffic - people wheelchairs wheelbarrow etc all get loaded and so narrow bridges are not functional. There is another cement bridge at that same Ojota that faces massive traffic daily.

So imagine my surprise when this bridge was built- made with metal (not sure which) and yet was still narrow. There are also people that are scared of heights (they pay taxes too) and these bridges need to be covered. That's the major reason some people don't use bridges.

Yes, you were trying to belittle the achievement of the Lagos state government by comparing it to that tiny dubai. Mind you, all of dubai isnt even up to Yaba or Alimosho LGA.
