If you've ever written before, then maybe you'd know what I mean Maybe you'd be able to feel me as I try to relate this feeling If you've ever found yourself melting your thoughts into ink Or some sort of visual figure vivid enough to be seen MAYBE you'd know what I mean Ever noted the headache coming way before you even meet the cause Felt the water cooling way before it hit your throat Oh for goodness sakes! I wonder if you'd know it! That preminitic feeling you cant really touch Cant sing cant hum cant shake it Everr felt your fingers trembling from the utter urge to get to it Spread something, share something, made it before it came real I wonder. Have you ever felt that somewhere inside of you, There is a stanza waiting to happen? That if you DO NOT grab a means to jot it, it may be lost? That this one thought that is though in process, is magical enough to change the world? YET knowing that this may not actually be as great as you wish it'd be? Like you're in some sort of gestation, expecting, and hoping Because, really, you do not know what you're about to breed? Any writers out there, ever felt the need to write? And when you do? Does i ever feel like thhat piece itself, is a premonition? Isnt it funny how writing then, becomes a proof of your psychic sense? |
