I did the reset yesterday and it started working and later stopped. I can't be doing reset every 2 days.

If reset partially worked...... Flashing the ROM, might offer a permanent solution.........

To d guy dat got a dead phone during file transfer:

See enh dat phone get plenty hope to wake up again as u just need little patience.But my greatest worry is the engineer that flashed your phone.My question is how he got d A5 pro firmware bc a wrong firmware kills a device though can still b worked on.The "possibility" of a virus is expected bc u were coming from and old fone to a new one.The "mistake" u made was to press d power botton during d frozen saga.You would v left d phone to run its natural cause and bet u without with d power botton being pressed ur fone would still b working by now.Reason is bc u tried to stop an ongoing process forcefully.A5 pro CANNOT BE FLASHED WITHOUT FIRST UNLOCKING THE BOOTLOADER which could v been done only wen d screen is still alive.

Na d engineer b my greatest issue.A5 pro is new no firmware yet i think.

But e pain me ooo.

Lastly pls keep d fone for a while roughly a month probably i may likely help but na d first flashing by d engineer na im b my concern.

Very right about the opening, voiding the warranty...... So sending back to China would not even be productive.... Because they would state device has already been opened and AE, would judge in their favour...........

was performing a simple task on my umi A5 pro, was moving a file from memory card to phone. Phone froze when I got to 100% , then pushed the power , phone hasn't come up since and has been slightly heating since then!
Phone was at 90% when this happened
charge it still won't turn on keeps heating slightly!
it's just 6 days I received the phone.
went to an engineer he tried flashing, no still do
he opened the phone removed and reinserted bat still no do
I'm frustrated!

what next my people 36k nobi beans

I have a 99% hope of reviving a dead mtk phone even this A5 pro but my concern is the warranty and how to get back the original IMEI number . Hope u can find a solution to that and that's when I'll come out godly on flashing..

Yes it charge. By worked on, I mean the software. Loading of new rom entirely but I don't think the engineer really got it well. Yes it's a working phone but the screen just went blank.

If you're in Lagos, you can dash to the post office once you've confirmed it has arrived but if you're outside Lagos wait till Monday. Besides, when exactly did you order the phone? And did you order from the official store?

But contact them first before opening dispute

Don't contact them if you actually want a working dispute. Put it up to them that the phone went off within few days of using. They will make proposal

open dispute that the phone stop working after some days of using it. State that you need your full money as the phone hasn't come up since then. Believe me, you will get a new phone or your full money back. They will make proposal. Call me if you want me to explain how you can go about it

Don't state how the phone went off. Just say it went off and never come up. Believe me, the seller and aliexpress will look into and you will get full compensation
