Please is anyone having similar problem and solution? He can't hear using the speaker while making calls unless he puts it on loudspeaker. I'm the one that suggested the device to him.

Firstly, force restart your device by holding the power till ur phone reboots, secondly, update ur phone if u haven't already done so.
Lastly, do a factory reset if all else fails and if it still didn't work return the device to seller.

NB: Has the earpiece ever worked before?

How do you check a brand new phone covered by warranty? There's no need abeg. If the phone was bought online nkor how does he check it? lolz....

Dude is just unlucky, maybe he bought a defective one, there are more than 5 people using the A9 pro which am one of them.

He should return the device as soon as possible
