As it is usually the case, you miss the point. I will however, summarise the points of the post:
1. Tribal bashing should stop; it doesn't help and no tribe is innocent. Like the proverb says, " those who live in glass houses should not throw stones"
2. We agree that there are problems in Nigeria; we should use these sections to discuss issues intelligently, and profer solutions. Chinese proverb - "a journey of a thousand miles starts with one step". Rational discourse may lead to real solutions and perhaps a change of mind-set.
3. Repeating of past errors will only lead self-destruction.

You have made it clear that you want the disintegration of Nigeria. For those of us that want a better life for ourselves and our families with or without Nigeria, let us continue to find a way forward. I refuse to be held back by mistakes of a generation that were not too enlightened. I will continue to be positive because Nigeria is my country and I want a great place for my children to live in and be a part of. I do not want to be in a nation with just Yoruba people, I want to be in a nation with Igbo, Ijaw, hausa, Tiv, etc.

It is very funny on your part to write about mistakes of our past generation. Ironically, the so-called mistakes are still with us today and handsomely sponsored by the federal government of Nigeria. Nigeria rides on the wheel of sectionalism.

I think it will amount to acts of futility to request the products of such institutionalized sectionalism to behavior or act differently. The source of the alleged Internet discomfort could be eliminated by disintegration of Nigeria.

It is always a wiser medical approach to cure the disease than to treat the symptoms of the disease.

I am not much impressed with the amalgam of your political philosophy. However, I hate to rain on your parade day. I remembered when Igbo extractions were elected into political offices in Lagos, Hausa extraction was elected the first mayor of Enugu, one of the Benin federal constituencies elected Igbo extraction and a section of Port Harcourt municipality was represented by Yoruba extraction voted into office by Ndigbo.

These political relics are things of 60s before Nigeria/Biafra civil war and probably have no place in today’s Nigeria. The fact remains that Nigeria is growing very fast toward disintegration. There is no amount of accelerated display of political naiveté or delusional mindset that will change the course of Nigerian destiny.
