It's not as a result of poor management. My specialty is brood and sell. Maybe you are seeing the pictures. I have over 15birds looking like ½ day old. They don't even look like cx nor bx. It's exhausting

Try and brood for another one week and sell off. Which hatchery do you normally buy from?

Day 29
Signs of snoring by the largest broiler. Looks like a sign of crd.
Give them onions, garlic and ginger in water.

Hi. They have the HUBBARD strain. Well, since you didn't get a male line, it's only normal to have females and males at an equal ratio and most times more females than males. This isn't done on purpose. It's just a stroke of luck.

Sir they do it on purpose. Why does zartech that sells frozen chicken have more females than males.

No sir. They don't. They make sure they sex heir own birds while they sell the indexed birds to the public. What you see is what you get sir.

When i see comments like this, i feel sad. Tuns broilers not impressing me even though the weight feels like stone when you carry them.

Hatcheries have problem from time to time. No hatchery is exempted from poor products from time to time.
The best advise is to buy products that presently good from a practising farmer.

Amo broilers i hope one of ur fefol go see dis.

RECENTLY UR BROILER CHICKS ARE BECOMING INCREASINGLY IRRITATING TO RAISE AS THEY REQUIRE MORE THAN 2.5 MONTHS to reach the usual size which i sell them. The annoying thing is that the food consumption DOES NOT REDUCE DURING THAT TIME INCREMENT. SO UR FREAKING REDUDING MY PROFIT magin. I have decided to switch to chi( the current hot dudes in town) and if the 200 birds reach their usual size in 7 weeks. I WILL DUMP AMO BROILERS FOR Good.

AND I AIN'T THE ONLY ONE HAVING DIS PROBLEM "ASK UR OTHER CUSTOMERS".

NO, IT AIN'T MY FEED, I GIVE "TOP FEED" FOR OVER 70% of thier growth phase.

stop supplying us with poor quality local broiler chicks, its very annoying & embarrassing telling my buyers to wait another months for my birds to grow. thier confidence in me will drop

Better go for commercial feed. You need antibiotics and anti cocci like EST mix wsp.

I discovered light weight on broilers fed on hybrid feed compared to Rico Gado.

I will pick Rico Gado or Topfeed over any other feeds.
Note: I have not used topfeed before but have seen the practical performance on other people farms.

Good Day poultry farmers . I need your assistance, am an undergraduate student of animal science. I intend applying for a faculty farm either a crop farm or a poultry space but currently I have little capital (remnant of my scholarship) and also getting good birds from farms as am in the Asaba campus of Delsu and getting a good bird and routine vaccines. Pls I need advice. I would prefer broilers.

Make sure you don't use sawdust and also apply ginger, garlic and honey in the water.
I had the sign of crd in one of my birds at the fourth week and I cured it organically.

What type of sickness?
