Court Stops EFCC Case Over Falsehood, Media Trial by Aspireahead(m): 4:34pm On Apr 06, 2017 |
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) suffered a major setback in the trial of Colonel Nicholas Ashinze and three others in an alleged N3billion unlawful transfer as the Federal High Court in Abuja suspended the case over an alleged falsehood and media trial engaged by the anti-graft agency against the military officer. 1 Like |

The media trials is to fool the gullibles. I come on nairaland everyday and hear people shouting, making noise. I weep for the nation. How can this lots be this ignorant. most of our youths doesn't know the basic in law. If they don't knw this much, how can they defend their rights. Let's take dasuki's case for instance. From day 1. I keep telling my friends that, they should forget the ranting, media trials, press conferences about DASUKI'S case. The FG will need more than that to jail him. WITH THE CURRENT EVIDENCE, IF THE FG TAKEsS DASUKI'S CASE TO A COMPETENT COURT, DASUKI WILL WALK A FREE MAN. Most things they said that dasuki did, he is fully guilded by the duties of a NSA of nigeria under our own constitution and office duty. Spend some time and read the function of the NSA of a nation. In fact, most countries don't even make their budget public. Am not saying that he didn't embezzled any found, He did (guessing). The efcc have to look deep to nail him not with this media crap of him dashing money. He duty was to stop seen and unforseen security threats. Ask yourself, The FG hv dedicated most of their efforts in fighting corruption. How of them have be sentence so far by a court. Many of you will say that the judiciary is corrupt. Before someone is been found guilty of any crime, you hv to prove beyond every reasonably doubt that he or she is guilty. with what i hv been reading on the media, that is not upto 50% enough to nail them. The FG, EFCC hv to re_strategize. The court needs physical evidence not just verbal words. 9 Likes |

EFCC has really suffer from Judiciary in the last 5days... no more executive influence judgement, The parliamentary arm is also standing firmly on its feet... the Executive is gradually loosing it's grip on other arms of government... Seems Mr Democracy is forcing itself on us... All is a sign of great future for this blessed country.... 4 Likes |

Buhari can't help but display d illiteracy in him.If not,why pick a fight wt both d judiciary and legislature at d same time? By the time d judiciary finishes wt him and his gang of empty headed abokkis,he will look for a dictionary and research d meaning of democracy. Saraki and co are already knacking him akpako from the other side. 7 Likes |

I keep saying it, EFCC keep ranting on media and never ready for proper investigation. I don't know if they've never heard the word CLASSIFIED before in their entire life. They'll keep running their mouths like women fighting in market places. See what their stupidity has cost them. Charge For 3billion but come to feed online trolls 36billion thereby winning the case online but truly losing where it matters most. Shame on them. No professionalism at all 1 Like |

Boleyndynasty2:efcc is just a bull dog of harrassment for dis govt. notin more notin less. in sane climes, investigations ar done with maximum confidentliality before a suspect is nailed. but in nijeria, suspects ar arrested, maltreated n harrased with exaggerated lies n half truth before investigation is done. only a brainless pesin will expect individuals to be convicted from dis gross act of incompetence. |
