Nice choice though but I think the Su-34 would be a better attack choice, I think it's the best attack aircraft out there even if it hasn't really been tested as much as the A-10 in combat. Don't underestimate the tucanos though, forget the fact that they're proppeler driven they're a low cost option for effective ground attack and aerial support plus they're also easier to maintain than the jet alternatives. The aircraft is multirole and cheap operational cost at $500 dollars an hour. But what I don't understand is why we are buying this featherweight aircraft for $50 million each when it cost less than $20 million, according to defense websites.

without a doubt embraer is not an American company but the super tucano is powered by an engine manufactured by the general electric company which is an American company hence embraer will have to get American consent before they can be able to sell the planes to Nigeria.

am not against those but 12 is just too much of such with these specs, we are Nigeria the giant of Africa. I feel un should be paying us for any of the peace keeping mission we go for henceforth, bros did you see the amount we will be using to purchase them. Weapons upon weapon ain't our security problem, we should Start from the ground and build up, we need efficient means of intelligence gathering and massive personnel training, objectivity and speciality training not just heaping the country with machines that will rot in the hanger.
