Please, good people of nairaland. Is there any international English language testing system (IELTS) centre in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital. I mean for both preparing for the test and writing the exam.

From British Council Nigeria website;

The British Council offers IELTS tests in eight location across Nigeria: Abuja, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ibadan, Ilorin, Lagos and Port Harcourt. All registrations for Abuja, Enugu, Calabar & Benin City are handled by the British Council in Abuja. All registrations for Lagos, Ibadan, Port Harcourt & Ilorin are handled by the British Council in Lagos.

The British Council currently run two tests per month in Abuja, Ibadan and Lagos and one test per month in Enugu, Benin City and Port Harcourt.

Places are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly recommend that you register online at least two months prior to the test date. Please note, once all the test places have been assigned and the session is full, the test will no longer appear on our online registration system.
After registering and payment, you will receive an automatic email with your access codes to the free online course: Road to IELTS

We will send you a confirmation email 4-10 days before the test date giving you the start time of your test and the venue address. If you do not receive your confirmation, please contact your local British Council office.

For more information please contact our Exams Services at exams.nigeria@ng.britishcouncil.org.
