2 possible causes.

1. Leak.

2. Engine burning coolant.

For leak check all coolant passages.

for burn Not DIY

This issue started after I change a bad fan. In the process of removing the fan, all the coolant leaked away. I had to purchase to refill it. And ever since then it has been shorting.

No car parts is CHEAP. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE MAINTAINING A $ CAR WITH NAIRA

Look at a Mazda 3 or a Pontiac Vibe.

Some of your conditions are ridiculous, though. 1.5m isn't a lot of money in the car market. It's like the bare minimum, tbh. But it should be enough to get one of two cars I listed. Accidented, of course.

To be honest, I'd advice you to save up more. Or look for a Nigerian used car to buy. Pay Gazzuzz for inspection and you should be fine.

Definitely Kia Rio 2006-2008, Hyundai Elantra 2007-2008.

With a top-up, Camry 2004-2005 possible.

<150k miles (good) Corolla 2004-2005-2006 might not be feasible (so be extra cautious of any you find).

All the above are Toks.

You can check my link to see some of the vehicles I have (let me recommend myself as GAZZUZZ no do dat yet grin).

Good luck.

you should not be driving a car that has a misfire, but Nigerians do it all the time.

Good day all,

I observed black fumes coming from the exhaust of my vehicle which resulted in gas smells in the car , high fuel consumption and eyes hurting while driving. Kia Sorento 2003.

I took it for a scan and got code P0443.

I have searched under the car and the engine for the purge control valve but couldn't find it. Although I noticed some hoses leading to the charcoal canister are damaged (replaced) . Although the canister appears to be good ( no sounds when shaking it).

My mechanic believes the CATs needs to be replaced as it makes a vehicle consume more fuel (is this true?)

I noticed that immediately the fuel injectors are "serviced" fuel economy improves for few weeks then it goes back to former state.

The mech is advising we buy 6 brand new injectors at 5k each.

What do u advise I do.

I will appreciate ur suggestions.
