So Nigerian police force wants to go against NURTW and local govt?

In the south west NURTW is king and Lord while those other ones who appear somewhat responsible and demand for basket and radio permits if you are driving a SUV truck are local govt agents. These people are a complete nuisance on the road . . .it is unbelievable.

IGP should be more elaborate to the public on police roadblock also, the organisation has been collecting #20, #50, #100, #200 from drivers and motorcyclists, the IGP should let the people know whether the aforementioned above is legal because they are the most roadblock in the country

It Doesn't Take Anything To Sit In An Abuja Office And Make Orders. And Ofcourse It's Not Even A New Order. It Is One We Are Used To, That's Never Been Followed.

Even if Buhari never abate recession and make life easy for Nigerians who never recieve salary paid nor find work, at least Buhari made the people's suffering more bearable by catching the people who are chopping the non paid salary money and the ones who are plundering pockets from the road side in the guise of doing real work. shocked

If this can be implemented, it will be one of the best thing the police chief has achieve. Too many rogues on our roads in the name of collecting revenue for the state. Especially, those produce collector on foods.

Coming from Igbo-Ora to Abeokuta via Rounder is the worst place.

When was the order given? As at 7pm yesterday, there was a police roadblock along the CMS - VI Road, close to Bonny Cantonment. Maybe, they were celebrating Easter Mass in that location!

This IG appears to be the most unserious with this order that gained traction from Jonathan's IGPs.
Re: IGP Orders Immediate Removal Of Roadblocks by princemartinsG(m): 6:23am On Apr 17, 2017
Be informed

IGP's directive for immediate removal of all illegal roadblocks are not only binding on the police.

The IGP Xsquad monitoring team has the authority to arrest members of any force mounting such illegal roadblocks in any part of the country be it army, navy, custom, nscdc etc

Let's say no to extortive illegal roadblocks

Very unfortunate.

Annoyingly, most of them are just claiming when in actual sense, they know next to nothing. I doubt if that one knows anything about developed countries. Every Tom, Dick and Harry is telling us how other countries are better than Nigeria when the only country they might have visited is either Ghana or Benin or Cameroun. Most people that travel to distant countries know that even the US Dollar has both new and old bills and they are both accepted. The US dollar is one of the globally accepted currencies and most travellers use it for exchange at the host countries because naira is accepted only in Nigeria. If this one claiming "Nigeria is the only country..." actually travels, he would have known this and won't try to ridicule our currency on that basis.
