I wish you well my broda. God is your strength. Even this 25k teaching job was not easy. During the interview, they were busy mocking me and my certificate. I was thinking perhaps I won't get the job. Last week Friday I received a call from them to start working next week. it wasn't easy at all even for a menial job. I am tired of this country. seriously.

You just have to start from somewhere;it is very germane to do so at this critical period. You won't remain with them for long, just don't be too comfortable with it. Set a target and make sure you follow it up.



This may interest you, I got a teaching job that pays the same amount with this subject matter; with a very good Masters Degree . I worked with them for just 6 months ;while I was with them, I was attending interviews. I didn't make myself too comfortable with that job. I kept pressing forward, today I have a good story to tell. And I believe that tomorrow I will have a better story to tell. The moral lesson in this post is that man must start from somewhere.

Hmmm....N25K per month. How much did you earn since 2015? ... like above said... you need to start from somewhere. Most that reach the top dumped their pride and started from the bottom or near the bottom of the ladder. You can either grab this opportunity and start from near the bottom. .. or hold on to your pride as a graduate and keep waiting to start from halfway up. Grab what you can get until you can get what you want.

1... It adds to your experience on d C.V cos no serious company will wanna employe smbdy idle for many years.
2. While teaching u can do home lessons+ break period lessons for ur pupils to add to ur income.
3. After a while on d job u can start doing part time teaching in as many schools as u can handle. After d month ur salary will smile at u a little bit....
God will EPP us in dis country. Swallow ur pride and vomit cool money at d end of d month.......

I graduated to a little bigger firm that paid me 5000 per month.

I was called for invite by refferal and was paid 50k

Now I earn .....

Don't forget the days of humble beginning !!

I did all these just to garner experience as a marketer and sales person!!

wow, I had to read this piece over and over again to grasp everything and relate it to myself now. Everybody have lost hope on me except for my mum. My own junior siblings no longer respect me, going to church is a pain in my ass because of the expectations from people. Thank you so much for this.

...dnt be too comfortable in the teaching job to an extent that u will stop ur job search and also try finding a skill u hv interest in to learn, shoe making, barbing e.t.c trust me u won't regret spending time learning those skills. Those skills pay more than most white collar job. All the best man
