In a country with the 4th highest number of Christians, where N13 billion Naira was found in an empty apartment building and where a tomato seller claims the ownership of N250 million Naira found in a market.

American political scientist Ian Bremmer shares a photo on twitter of people living in extreme poverty back in 1990 compared to 2013 in various countries in the world and according to the post it seems to be good news to the people in the mentioned states except for Nigeria.

From the comments on the controversial post, some have been able to relate the country's ever increasing population and high fertility rate as the cause of it's increase in poverty, and others have also blamed the high level of corruption in the country. Although the source of his statistics has also not been revealed.

Nigeria is not even the 4th but 5th. And only about 52% of the population is Christian.

Thus when you use the percentage of population yardstick to measure the saturation of Christiany in the country (in comparison to that of other countries of the world) Nigeria will not be found among the first 100.
