He made it clear that Fajuyi was one of their targets because of his involvement in the Jan 15th coup. If you need more, go read up on what Flight Lt. Nwankwo(Ironsi's ADC), who was there and survived the ordeal has to say.These are two first hand accounts from two soldiers that were directly involved, and they completely rubbish your fairy tales.

Besides your beer parlour jists, can you provide any supporting account from any of the people that participated in that episode? If you must know the truth, Fajuyi was very scared and begged for his life. I do not hold it against him, as he was confronted by an impending violent death.
