The 19 first-class graduates from different institutions in the country and members of Mountain of Fire Ministries(MFM) Campus Fellowship would always remember Saturday January 2,2010 as a memorable day.They were presented with a car gift each for the exemplary performance in school.

Each of them had been commended and presented with a car gift under the Daniel Olukoya Excellence Award of MFM Campus Fellowship for making first class in their various disciplines.

While presenting the cars to the beneficiaries last saturday during the first Power Must Change Hand service,a monthly programme organised by the church,the wife of the General Overseer,Mrs Sade Olukoya said the gifts were a directive from God to encourage students and members of the church to put their best in whatever they were doing.She noted that the gesture was also meant to reposition the youths and keep them away from negative influence.While thanking and appreciating the beneficiaries for the good name their performances had brought to the church,their parents and the country at large,she said the bottom line was for them to fear God and be obedient to His commandments."If you continue in this way ,God will take you to the greatest heights in life".To others who did not make first class,Mrs Olukoya also appreciated their efforts,saying:"God who sees beyond men is capable of giving you the greatest gift".

The Vice Chancellor of University of Lagos,Prof Tolu Odugbemi also commended the graduates.He said the General Overseer of MFM church,Dr Daniel Olukoya graduated a with a first class degree in UNILAG in 1979 from DEPARTMENT OF Microbiology and Parasitolological under his supervision.He noted that the project written by Dr Olukoya was published in the Nigerian Medical Journal.Odugbemi said if a student devoted two,three or more hours to revision daily,such a student was not far away from making a first class.He lamented that many of the students allowed freedom on campuses to derail them from doing what they were expected to do.He expressed gratitude to the church for rewarding the graduates while encouraging other religious bodies to initiate similar programmes.

One of the beneficiatries,Damilola Aluko,who graduated from UNILAG gave glory to God and expressed gratitude to Olukoya and his wife for honouring them.
