You might be talking about a different accident.
Can you remember the couple's name?

Is D.S Femi Pedro?

I don't think so.

Not Pedro.

Guess again.

Another clue: He was the cadidate of SDP in the said electio but lost. The eventual winner, his major opponent for SDP's ticket and him were all indigenes of Epe.

Madam Kofo

It was Chief Dapo Sarumi, minister for Africa Cooperation at a time during OBJ's government.

He contested for the SDP ticket against Prof Agbalajobi.

Sir Michael Otedola (Femi Otedola's father) who contested on the NRC platform eventually won the election.

All three were indigenes of Epe.

As a matter of fact, Chief Sarumi was on his way from or to Epe when the accident you referred to occurred.

Incidentally, two other ministers's convoys had been involved in fatal accidents before Sarumi's without any consequence on their positions.

Sarumi had to resign or was dropped following protest by the victim's influential family (she was a newlywed pregnant cousin of Access Bank's current CEO) and public outcry.

Bode George was never a minister. He was military governor of Ondo State though.

Look at the airports and how bad most are. Even the international airport promised during this ministers time in Enugu fell through as usual.
