truth is bitter. Ecostat is very competitive due to the high number of candidates that usually apply for it.
Though it's benchmark last year was pegged at 205 yet still there were many who surpassed that cut off but weren't admitted.
Nonetheless it all depends on the performance of your fellow candidates this year and God's grace could favor you, also you could be admitted if you're from ELDS or catchment cos uniben considers that.

By the way, the official UNIBEN UTME cutoff for English Language and Literature last year is 200. And last year they admitted about 725 students for the course.
