Things were never this bad in the 90s when I stayed in faj, overcrowding I guess but what about the mosquito bites and probably rats that will bite their feet, kai.... Not to mention the stench from the toilet if you stayed in toilet avenue..don't know if that slang is still used for the room closest to the toilet at both ends.

This is a very common reality in hostels from secondary school to university... If this is shocking to you boyyy... You be day student or you be off campus person....

I remember my secondary school days from st. Batholomews in Zaria to command Kaduna... We use to FLAP people.... Which means dusting people off their beds while they sleep before they know it you are gone with the bed.... Then you will have to sleep with one eye open because you too might get flapped before the morning comes...


Fut Minna Bosso campus.... That hostel was war.... The smell of beans mixed with body odor mixed with piss mixed with nastiness I use to prefer to sleep on the roof of the hostel entrance slab.... My God that place has one of the best sun rises and sun sets I have ever seen....

Sorry for the long talk the picture puts me in a state of nostalgia... A flood of memories good and bad are swirling in my head kai... Life
