I found this post by sheer accident. For the past week I've been on a liquid only detox cleanse that includes lemon juice. I'm using store bought organic lemon juice, and I read that all of the beneficial Vitamin C is depleted unless the juice comes from a freshly squeezed lemon. I started taking 1000mg Ester-C with Bioflavonoids to get my Vitamin C. I found out that garlic could also be beneficial on a cleanse and started to research my combination of cleansing ingredients to see of they would work well together. This post stood out to me because during a cleanse I usually intake much less calories than normal, which has often affected my sex drive and sexual stamina. This time I've noticed that my erections have been weak and don't last very long. I started by blending 2 cloves of fresh garlic in 12 ounces of water. The garlic dissolved completely. I then added all my usual cleansing ingredients, 2 TBsp lemon juice, 1 TBsp organic Maple Syrup, and 1TBsp organic raw honey. I drank the entire cleanse drink with 1 Ester-C tablet (1000mg). After a few hours of sleep I awoke to a raging hard boner that refused to go down until I completely ignored it and focused on other things, but any thoughts of a sexual nature and it came raging back. Lastly Ester-C comes in a 24-hour extended release tablet which means only small amounts are released over an entire day, meaning much more (if not all) Vitamin C is used by the body and much much less is excreted in the kidneys. So if you're one of the few humans at risk of developing kidney stones you can minimize your risk by taking the slow release form of Vitamin C.

I used 2 cloves/pieces. I also tried some black garlic and it works just as well for me. One of the benefits of black garlic is that it doesn't leave you smelling garlicky all day long. Benefits without the smell = WIN! Black garlic also happens to be delicious. Try it and let me know if it works just as well as normal garlic for you guys.

After smell of garlic on people is unbeatable. I don't know why some people smell that way,is it because they don't bath and change clothes regular or just because they aetiology excessive garlic? No benefit can over idea that.

Hey guys! I stumbled apon this today. An was excited to see this discussion about garlic an vitamin c. I read this study years ago. An experimented with the cocktail. Because I was having a little issue in bed at that time. So I started with regular vitamin c garlic from local big store chain. An didn't experience to much. Then after a month of that. With more research I found out some vitamins potency can be sketchy. So I went with nature made vitamin c with (Spc ) label. They check them for potency. What I did was unrelated to what the op is saying.
The main ingredient was the zobo, the garlic was just to give it more potency and spice.
