Auto Breakthrough by African Engineer

Jan. 26, 2007 - General Motors designer Jelani Aliyu, a Nigerian, has created a battery-powered, extended range electric car that creates electricity with a gas engine. General Motors touted the auto, referred to as the Chevy Volt, in a statement on Tuesday, saying,"GM`s most electrifying advanced technology vehicle is the Chevrolet Volt concept, a battery-powered, extended-range electric passenger vehicle."
