He visited Kanu. Google it.

Yes he did, sir...AFTER Buhari fell sick (with Pat Utomi). Soludo, i feel is all about his ambitions. I am being frank here.

Yes, we are more divided but the reasons for the division should also be said. A group of people have decided not to move on because their candidate lost. Some even went as far as agitating for secession just because they don't like the face of the president. So, how do you unite a people that don't want to be united?

For some of us, we are no longer concerned. Those who want to wail over electoral loss till 2019 can go ahead. Others are strategising ahead of 2019 and some people are busy attacking others instead of building bridges. At the right time, water will fund its level.
Buhari's incompetent handling of the economy must not be overlooked.

This is not a PDP vs APC issue. Soludo, Sanusi and Utomi have spoken out against them. His senseless pegging of the naira exchange lead to biting forex shortages which plunged the country into an unnecessary recession.

I am completely apolitical (Psalms 146:3-4, Jeremiah 10:23)

You people should not be hoodwinked by what seems his impeccable integrity to overlook the tattered state of the economy.

You are wrong. Because of hatred of Buhari over Igbos he arrested Nnandi Kanu who has been broadcasting since 2009 . Gej ignored him. Agitation for Biafra has been there but Buhari approach to it escalated it .

Yes Nigeria is terribly divided today. But has it not been so? A country where everything is viewed from the ethnic perspective. A country that embarked on a genocide against a particular tribe. A country where an ethnic group think that they will produce the leadership or determine who leads and who gets what. A country where a set of people are backward and expect every other people must wait for them. A country where the law applies to people based on tribe and personal contact. A country where you will be offered two year contract job because you are from a different tribe. If we want to be honest to ourselves the Igbo man is the only detribalised fellow. This is the only group that can be found in their numbers at every nook and cranny of this country. How many Hausas and Yorubas live in Igbo land? The issues are clear. And for every leader these are challenges that must be tackled if we sincerely wish to be one country. I think that Soludo is on point and this present administration must act fast to prevent a catastrophic break up of this giant nation.

Why wouldn't it be so when people who didn't remember to agitate for Biafra during the five years rule of Jonathan suddenly woke up and started agitating for Biafra even before the May 29 handing over. And to think that they were the same set of people that campaigned for Jonathan in 2015. I would say that they, not Buhari set the stage for disunity.

Your observation is true, but the president didn't help either.

Phrases like the infamous “97%/5%” one kind of signalled the objective of his administration at the outset: divide the Nigerian people along as many lines as possible.

His queer mathematical formula tells us how he intended to handle “inclusive governance.”

These aren't statements a unifying force should be making. Nigerians desire a president that is a unifier, a healer of the national breach.

Buhari is a man of many faults as far as saying the wrong things.

A look at the people who form the core of his government is enough proof of the divisive figure that he is. They are mainly his kinsmen and women as well as people of his ethnic or cultural stock.

His appointments saw Buhari making good his promise of sidelining the 5 Percenters.

If that isn't setting the stage for division, then I wonder what is.

Does his actions and policies portrays what he said .

If you choose to hold the president on the account of his words rather than his actions you will not be able to access this govt without prejudice .

You claimed his appointment sidelines a particular region , but we all know here that's not the case

But if you insist on going down that lane I Will be willing to oblige you

The five percenters want to have all the appointments for whatever reason. You don't believe in him , you don't have confidence in him, your candidate whose curruption policy you love has lost and you failed to recover from it and wait for the next election.

I actually remember that thread.

Buhari has shown his true colours without question. Very bigoted human being. Which is the key reason the country is where it is, selections are not made based on merit or capability but "my people" syndrome. The man is a huge error which Nigerians have realized rather late.

If you didn't vote for him, you obviously don't share the same view of how to improve Nigeria. You lost this time, just wait and contest again. Why do you want to implement a policy you don't believe in?

We are more divided because a group of people took up arms and started killing Xtians in the name of their religion. Most prominent polictrikians and follwers of that religion in that region kept quiet while their followers cheered on until the terrorists turned against and starting killing them in 1000s.

Over 5m Naija folks displaced in their country. FG has spent close $20bn in fighting BH, money that could have been used in providing education to 11m kids in Naija who are not enrolled in school.

Oba of Lagos threatened to drown a group of people for voting a different candidate even though he's from his tribe.

Our president went on intl tv to declare that he would discriminate against regions that gave him 5% vote and favour the regions that gave him 97%.

Even though Kalu and IPOD had been in existence before APC came in, FG made him a public figure and his organization popular by killing and arresting its members while at the same time releasing and swapping BH terrorists for BH captives.
