The annoying thing is that while this protest was going on, I just heard on AIT News that another group simultaneously had another rally at Eagles Square, Abuja, DECLARING THEIR SUPPORT FOR YARADUA! And guess what?

most of them were youths, people of our own generation!

What about the internet revolutionists in the Diaspora ? When did they say theirs is coming ? Or Nigerian police operate outside out shores too making it as dangerous to protest outside ?

Don't worry yourself about those rented 'areaboys'. I saw them on AIT and it is obvious they are a bunch of hungry layabout paid by Aondoakka and led by a few sycophants of the discredited and dying Yar Adua government.

It wouldn't be hard to imagine that these crooks in government may have paid some people to try to protest for the government and some took the deal. But you know what, forget about them, they are silly and probably have no brain to be supporting these cabals. Or they could be youth who are really poor and needed the money so they took the deal.   The anti-government rally was much larger I assume.

I hope that this rally really means the start of something special. I would not like it if everything just died down. If these cabals don't meet all our demands, we should just throw out this government and start everything all over.

Kudos to all that attended protest.

maybe cnn international was there and have footage of protest. I'm sure they must have gotten some information about it.

Abi O my brother. This , from Tpia, is also out of order:

them wan destabilize the country like what's currently going on in Iran.

All these foreign based internet "warriors"

i tire for Nigerians, for real.

What we all want to happen is happening yet some folks are not happy. I really struggle to understand Nigerians !!! Even assuming , for the sake of arguement, that folks are "internet warriors" would it not be better to encourage them to do more rather than taunt them ? I have been to a few pro-Naija rallies in the UK and when you see the 'virgins' you tend to know them . An encouraging smile and a kind word soon helps them to feel at ease in confimation that they have made the right choice. In my experience , most pro-Naija activist are internet warriors" making the switch to real activism. Those who genuinely want Nigeria to improve will realise that all effort is welcomed . Wether you be internet Rambo or you dey throw egg for OBJ face , its all good  grin grin grin
