I am not doubting their testimony or d cause of death,but my issue is that d pathologist cannot do an autopsy and come out to say so and so drug caused a death.
Autopsy can reveal aspiration,choking,strangulation,etc as causes of death,but u need to present a toxicology screening or in d common parlance lab drug test that shows so,so drug was found,at what amount or dose and that it was far above d accepted blood levels.
He cannot tell anybody that,but a lab screening that shud be part of what informed his conclusion wud av.I didn't read where he presented that backup evidence.

Because you're not "sure" there's a lab that performs such test doesn't mean it doesn't exist....you just don't know and it's as simple as that. Chemical pathology is a part of Pathology and it's part of Residency training for residents in Pathology as a whole. We've got numerous Consultants Chemical Pathology I'm the country and Toxicology is easily done in numerous hospitals in the country. Go to Yaba left hin dey there too.

I even just read that d family are threatening to sue d CMD for his testimony.Is this kind of seemingly subjective rather than objective evidence that give families reasons to doubt conclusions and give rise to conspiracy theories.
I repeat,properly d pathologist should av said 'from the gross and histologic examination,Senator Adeleke died as a result of asphyxiation,probably arising from intake of a substance that caused narrowing of his airways,which we found to av been so,so centimetre less than d normal diameter.Toxicology carried out at so,so lab,on so so date,from blood,fluid or fluid sample collected on so,so date showed so,so levels of d following drugs or substances.This my lord is copy of the lab results from so, so pathcare,Mecure or Clinitex laboratories'.
I don't doubt d cause of his death but due to conspiracy theorists,everyone shud be very factual and documentary in their evidences.

You made a good point.
But let us not forget the reason behind the ban of Analgin. It has not been associated with cardiac arrest, rather with agranulocytosis . The recurrent way of pointing out Analgin as being banned, diverts attention to it as the cause of death.
How about the alcohol? Alcohol, especially when taken in excess, has been shown to be associated with sudden death (heart attack). Same with smoking (was he a smoker?)
The autopsy report should say more about the heart/brain (coronary and cerebral vessels).
