That's just the thing. This one are friends and family. Of a truth, this wedding was more fun than mine. It's like a get together with jokes and light gossip among the women.

That's just the thing. This one are friends and family. Of a truth, this wedding was more fun than mine. It's like a get together with jokes and light gossip among the women. The celebrants couldn't contain their happiness.

He was saving separately for his wedding. He is a government employee.

So if I have only 500k I will use it and buy a woman?
Is that an asset or liability?
So what will I run the household with?

In few years kids may start coming, won't there be a need to rent a new apartment. Or won't people visit you?

Those guys would have used the money to expand their businessess dude.



Aside: Just note that two people can just go to the registry and marry with just 2 witnesses and it is valid.
You don't even need a traditional stuff or even parental consent to have a valid marriage once both are upto 21 years.

Many Nigeria n's feels marriage is an avenue for breeding kids. First, we should see marriage as an avenue for companionship and sexial justification. Even the bible advice us to marry as a way of avoiding fornication,and also to obtain favour from God. The couple can still wait till they are sure of taking care of a child.

Well, I replied based on the facts you stated about 500k. And I still maintain that cos thats all he had at that time and he used all for marriage.

True. There's no need inviting so many people if one knows he has limited resources.

BTW, it is after the wedding that the marriage, which comes with much more responsibilities, begins.

after society has raised the bar.don't you see wedding party pictures on instagram or Bella naija or ovation magazine?

Even movies like the wedding party then you want to cut your coat according to what size? My friend did a big wedding in ikoti,me too I must show her.we will do ours on the air grin
