Creativity is discovered in the limitless opening of a mind wrapped in the consciousness of excellence and societal good. Based on the foregoing, Communicators League (CL) invites writers from all parts of the world to participate in the maiden edition of its creative writing contest aimed at bridging the gap between arts and humanity.

THEMES
Poetry – Social Injustice
Flash Fiction – Nostalgia (Good old days)

REWARDS
1st Prize – ₦25,000 ($80) for each category
2nd Prize – ₦10,000 ($32) for each category
3rd Prize – Books worth ₦5,000 ($16) for each category

Exceptional entries will be published in an electronic anthology available for free download on http://www.communicatorsleague.com.

GUIDELINES

Open to creative writers all over the world.
An entrant should not submit more than a single entry for each category.
Poetry – 30 lines, Flash Fiction – 300 words maximum.
Works must be original works of the author and previously unpublished.
Entries must align with the themes of the contest.
Under no condition will the judges’ decisions be challenged.
Forward your entries to CLWRITINGCONTEST@GMAIL.COM specifying the category (poetry or flash fiction) in the subject of the mail.
Submissions (in the body of the mail) should be accompanied by entrant’s name, gender, location, brief biography, photograph and contact details (phone number and email address).
