Iam working on something, ive been thinking...but.
I googled but all i found was obviously returning ip from url... iam talking of the reverse.

Is there any Python module that would use certain methods that accept an IP parameter and return the URL?. eg

method('1.12.123.124')
Output: www.someSiteHere.com

I know I may have to write a mini browser with...maybe java. But i'm shying away...just want it in a simple way for now. Help.

I haven't tried this before, dont know if it is the hostname you need but in PHP try any one of these functions:
gethostbyname(hostname);
gethostbyaddr(IP_address);

or for other purposes:
dns_get_record(hostname);

If you can tell me the kind of system you're trying to build or logic you're trying to implement then i may be able to help you better.

tip: You can look for a DNS lookup/search API, it should have an endpoint for retrieving the resource (IP to domain).
