If I must say, why the journey to Benin for the training, when there are Songhai farms in nig. Is anything so special abt going there?
For those who have gone. Pls tell us ur experiences. Is it worth going that distance in terms of stress by road,cost of transportation, time,energy, accomodation etc

We all know that Songhai Farms in Porto-Novo, Benin Republic, is an agricultural training destination for most aspiring young agropreneurs in Nigeria.

Courses to learn there include:
1. Crop Production - Garden/Gardening, Compost/RCW, Agroforestry, Food Crops & Mushrooms;

2. Animal Husbandry - Poultry, Mammals, Animal Nutrition (Fish Farming & Food Processing) & Handicraft (Food + Cosmetics);

3. Renewal Energies - Biogas, Solar, Gasifier, Bio fuel & Recycling of Plastics; and

You will agree with me that if we must enjoy uninterrupted success in agriculture, then we need quality training to bridge the gap between our current capacities and achievable total productivity.
