This man was caught after stealing a generating set yesterday evening off P.T.I road, Effurun near warri.
The guy just walked into a house, on seeing nobody about, decided to help himself with the small generator set and walked out the gate.
fortunately, the owner came outdoors shortly making for the gen to cover it as it was about to rain
He promptly raised an alarm and ran out.
shop owners in the neighbourhood confirmed seeing this guy carrying a gen. but his well dressed look made no one challenge him.
the owner finally caught up with the thief at masoje bus stop waiting for a tricycle along the busy P.T.I road.
He was taken back to where he took the gen and his drilling started.
He was later handed over to soldiers on patrol
