Yesterday, Some Kogi indigenes said they no longer want want Senator Dino Melaye as their representative. They begun the process of trying to recall the federal lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial zone as they filled the register to effect their intention.

Today, senator Dino Melaye and his convoy were greeted with insults as the lawmaker arrived Kabba, a town in Kogi state. The residents who gathered on the high way were heard shouting 'Dino, Ole' - a word used to describe a thief.

Nigeria government/politicians have been taking powers of the people for granted. Making anti-poeople policies and laws while implementing the ones for their interests.

Until people rise up and demand for Restructuring of this thing called Nigeria, that will give rooms of power to the young and vibrant graduates with fresh ideas and mindsets of good governance to all regions.

Any INEC chairman and officials who have been depriving the will of the people during and after elections should get ready to give accounts of their corruptions/bribes.

this is not true. I am presently in Kabba and witnessed what happened first hand.
the ole " thief" that was being chanted was not for Dino but for the state governor. Dino employed these youths for that very purpose. Dino himself was walking the street with the teeming youths while they chant Yahaya Bello Ole!

Spot on..
The first rule as a Nigerian polithiefian, don't draw too much attention to yourself especially in a period where the people are facing hardship. They'll be out looking for who to blame and then crucify. Don't shout too much when you know you're stealing and also don't go about stepping on toes cause they may not react immediately,waiting for the appropriate time to set u up. So don't go thinking you've got a boss who can shield you even he might have enough on his plate.
