Movie Synopsis
Pink Ribbon tells the story of three university friends (Sarah, Matilda & Ayo) who lived reckless lives during their university days; exposing themselves to some risk factors such as excessive smoking, high consumption of alcohol and all manner of lifestyles. Things take a turn for the worse when Sarah gets diagnosed of Breast cancer and she soon rejected by her friends, fiancée and the society. Sarah’s world falls apart as this total rejection based on vague misconceptions drives her to commit suicide after a lingering period of intense pain and rejection, as the movie comes to a climax. The tragic part of the movie lies in the fact that Sarah never got to discover who she was – the abandoned daughter of a business mogul and owner of a multinational company.
