More sordid details are emerging
concerning the notorious richest kidnapper who was recently arrested in Lagos.

Chukwudi Dumeme Onuamadike a.k.a Evans allegedly married the wife of one of his gang members whom he killed, Daily Independent reports.

The kidnap kingpin then assumed
responsibility for the accommodation and well-being of the deceased’s children who
refer to him as their father.

NAIJ.com notes that this revelation was made on Sunday, June 10, by one of the
accomplices arrested alongside Evans.

According to the suspect, one of the gang’s members who was assumed to have being killed by the police, was actually killed by
Evans, who was dating his wife.

According to the arrested co-suspect, Evans had eliminated the gang member upon discovery by the latter that his wife was
engaged in an affair with the notorious kidnapper.

Evans then accommodated the deceased’s wife and her 5 children in another house, away from the one he lived in.

He then assumed responsibility for their up-keep.

Investigations reveal that the pharmacist who sold drugs to Evans also disclosed that the criminal occasionally purchased sex-enhancing drug which costs N6,000 per tablet.

According to the pharmacist who was also arrested in the course of nabbing Evans, a pack of that drug contains only two tablets and the kidnap kingpin usually bought 10
packs for N120,000 almost every week or fortnightly.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com earlier reported that Evans had started spilling names of his high-
profile accomplices.

This comes barely 48 hours after he was arrested by officers of the Nigeria Police Force.
