Why did companies relocate and are still relocating to Ghana from Nigeria?
Stable electricity, stable economy, stable currency friendly environment etc.
No book haram, no Fulani herdsmen, ipob issue, agbero wahalah, kidnapping etc

Nice move! But doesn't this seem like a structural violence against the producing nations? I mean supposing it was Nigeria's BUA sugar facing such policy say in ghana, it might breach our relationship with them. **Just thinking rational*
Banning imported goods to encourage local manufacturers is "structural violence". mmmm I tuale for you.

It's been long since I saw the St. Louis brand in the markets. Its better it remains banned. The last time I used it, its quality had reduced. I had to put up to four cubes in a mug of tea before I could taste it. Is that one a sugar?
When we develop our local products, foreign companies will come to realize that Nigeria is no longer a dumping ground for their inferior products.
Nah sugar nah, abi you wan call am salt?

I don't know how people who put sugar in their tea do it. I need to sell my stomach and get a better one, or better still fire all the worms inside and employ new ones.
Sugar in my tea means 30 minutes of serious stomach problems

Abstain from sugar. Can't remember the last time i took sugar. For women, cutting down sugar and sugary products help decrease painful mensturation.

Yeah, that's why Dangote's grin keeps widening. His big pack that used to be 150 is now 450...say No to sugar tinz. I already said No to both castor and cubes sugar...hoping to say No to the ones in processed drinks too. Imagine 1.5L fanta that used to be 250 now going for 400. Na real diabetics watch the price index is on to lately embarassed

Well, this is because of dangote and honey well products.
When are we going to see same decree in bags and shoes industry and let Aba clothe us? Instead the fooolish Abia state governor is planning to bring in foreign shoe makers to compete with our local Aba manufacturers.
Epic fooliishness!

Govt is never serious in Nigeria
How hard is it to effect a ban by a country??

sorry, is dangote afraid of competition? y is it dat anytime he ventures into any market there is a sudden ban on such products, tin tomato was banned n wen he could not supply d nation ban was lifted, a ban would have been placed on indomie if it were not produced locally.

the truth be told 1 cube of St. Louis equals to 5 cube of dangote n d taste of St Louis has been same from my birth but dangote taste like u have sugar cane in ur tea if u really taste it wit a kind if smell. competition is good n instead of banning it fg should allow d competition.

Smh for this country.

Same St. Louis I see everyday in stores? Anyway, I've switched to a Nigerian brand (Dogan Sugar) and that's because Dogan is N100 cheaper than St. Louis.

Like someone pointed out on the first page, you could tell the difference in terms of Taste. 2 Cubes of St. Louis = 5 Cubes of Dogan Sugar.

If Dangote is an Igbo man or a Biafran, they would have used tax to kill his business. They will open more doors for foreign Sugars to Land in Nigeria on daily basis.

Dangote may not live in Aso Rock , but he gives 40% order of what is happening in Nigeria. If you think am lying, ask Buhari.....
