If Biafra with only the 5 Southeast states is landlocked, what of the North? The sea is not that far from with Abia or Imo state. And if all Igbos decide to leave Nigeria, including Igbos in the SS, the sea is even closer. But let us look at a map. The North is truly landlocked. If the Igbos decide to leave, do they really think other groups will stay in Nigeria? The SS will definitely leave if the Igbos leave. They may not join Biafra, but they definitely would leave. Even the Yoruba may decide to form their own nation. The Middle Belt would think twice about forming a country with the North as well. So when people say Igboland is landlocked they should look at a map. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

What would be the difference between a landlocked North and Chad/Niger? The answer is nothing. The North needs a united Nigeria more than the Igbo who are closer to the sea. 9 Likes |

The Northern Lepers, blind men and women, Lame, and all Northern 'handi/legicaps' would all be chased away from South. What a relief.. Total closure of all alahkubar blaring speakers and mosques in all of SS and SE. Even Auchi would not be spared. Stopping of Oil Money to the whole North. Chasing all Northern Oil blocs owners away from ND. Sacking all Northerners from SE and SS axis. 2 Likes |

If the Igbos go, it will start a domino effect that the North will not be able to handle. Other groups throughout the South and Middle Belt will want to leave, making the North landlocked. Nigeria needs the Igbo more than the Igbo need Nigeria. 13 Likes 3 Shares |

I dont even think the north is landlocked, they can build artificial river and connect to to river Niger which washes out to the Ocean. |

SHAKABOOM: Bros you are very correct. Lagos and access to the sea for the north was the deal that Awolowo made with the north in 1966 to avoid war and to make them grant him the presidency after the civil war. SW is going nowhere if Igbos leave Nigeria because they are in a pact many of their youth typing chaka chaka on the internet dont even know about. saharareporters.com/2012/08/13/northern-muslim-elders-reply-asari-dokubo-go-and-read-your-history "We received this with shock and the whole Northerners met in Kaduna and we issued them a warning that we heard they (Yoruba) were not part of it and we agreed but we have one demand,” he said. That condition, according to him was the establishment of a One Mile Corridor. “From Offa which is in our region, from the rail line to the sea (wharf) we declare One Mile Military Corridor, meaning all of them who built houses within One Mile, we will crush down their houses. And nobody will stop our vehicles and vessels from accessing the sea, this we told our Yorubas in Ilorin to tell them. And from that time we never hear them. This is Military Corridor, we of the past hope our children will carry it,” warning that nobody could stop the people of the North, whom he said number 120 million, from accessing the sea." 5 Likes |

The truth is that yorubas already surrendered Lagos to Abokkis a long time ago. yorubas know this but they don't know how to come to terms with so they deviate by shouting 'Igbo is landlocked' to deflect attention from reality. Abokiis like Apcsupporter, Gorotango, Thecabal Itsmeaboki will run away from this thread. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

EzeUche:losing shoreline is not enough to bring the sea to Eboeland what you are suggesting is a total wipe out, evil but childish reasoning coming from an old man. This kind of fantasy or magical thinking is more suited to a 6 year old . So you think Rivers state will disappear? How will this happen? Nnamdi Kanu will cast his rod into Azumili river and the Lord of hosts Chuckwòo Habiami will do the rest? 2 Likes |

EzeUche:So you mean the land of South South people will be overtaken by the ocean while Igbis will have their desired shoreline. In this era where People are reclaiming land from the ocean, you are saying it is impossible? I know you wish evil for the south south so that you can have your shoreline. But trust me, God pass you. 1 Like |

EzeUche: By the way Biafra would not be landlocked because it has access to the sea. There is a difference between not having a coastline and being landlocked. |
Re: The North Is Landlocked by aribisala0(m): 7:09am On Jun 19, 2017 |
EzeUche: Gradually? How many inches or miles per year have you got facts and figures? You are not discussing with ignorant villagers HOW LONG BEFORE PORT HARCOURT DISAPPEARS? No we are not as helpless as you think. We can reclaim land to reverse such trends or even claim space never previously occupied. There is nothing inevitable about it. That is wishful thinking. By the way much of that region is in a bight which are less prone to receding generally. According to your fantasy we should expect islands like Bonny or even Britain to disappear 1 Like |
