GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

LOCATION: Lagos,

Tusen Consulting Limited (formerly Adecco Tusen Consulting) is recruiting for a major manufacturer and distributor of food supplements to more than 20 countries around the world.

POSITION DESCRIPTION - The executive will provide leadership, policy direction and technical oversight to ensure efficient, quality service supporting the line operations. Specific duties will include but not be limited to the following:
 Develop, evaluate, monitor and communicate long and short range strategic objectives ensuring consistency and alignment with overall corporate strategic objectives.
 Coordinate and manage the annual budget process for the corporation, including development and maintenance of three and five year business model.
 Lead the development and implementation of financial reporting, ensuring that policies and procedures are consistent and in compliance with all Accounting Procedures and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
 Produce results through strategic planning and implementation and evaluation of programs.
 Manage and oversee the annual financial audit and presentation to Audit/Finance Committee.
 Plan, organize, and coordinate the month end and year end close process.
 Work closely with the Accountant Director on all elements of Finance and Operations.
 Direct and manage the Corporate Accounting and Treasury functions.
 Communicate the actual performance versus budgets and objectives to Senior Management.
 Collaborate with General Manager to prepare or manage critical business processes. Manage, develop and lead an effective, responsive, best-practice financial organization with an open style of communication and analytical approach to business.

REQUIREMENTS
A professional, bachelor’s / masters degree in Finance/Accounting is required. +7years experience in similar role.
