Few days ago the league management committee under Nigeria football federation put off premier league matches (week 26) accross the country on basis that the date clash with upcoming end of Ramadan festival..
This is not the first time such move is taking place but Regrettably the move was an error..
I believe festive season is an avenue when all the teams crying lack of fund to run club can receive boost as a result of feasible increase of the spectators that will use the occasion to visit stadia to enjoy themselves..
Many will travel back to their cities and visiting stadium migt be one way to enjoy their off duty.. It is note worthy that activities in the English premiership usually more pronounced during Xmas and new years and rational thinking can tell level of revenue that will be generated during the period...
I hope things get rigth in this Nation one day.
