The following are the steps on how to get an Irish Visa
• Know your visa type which could be Visit Visa, Business Visa, Study Visa, Employment Visa or Transit Visa
• Fill the necessary application forms which are gotten online
• Visit the visa application centre
• Pay your visa application fee, services fee and bank fee at the bank teller counter at the Visa Application Centre
• Submit your application form with supporting documents and photocopies at the Ireland Visa Application Centre Lagos or Abuja and have your biometrics done (all applicants aged 6 years and over)

Basic Requirements:
To ensure your application is processed without any delay, please include the following:
For short stay visa application
• Complete, signed & printed on line visa application Form and one set of photocopy of online printed form
• Original Passport valid for 6 months and one set of photocopies of all the pages of passport(s)
• One set of original documents and one set of the photocopies of the original documents as per the relevant checklist.
• Two recent photograph
• A3 size Prepaid courier service return envelope
For Long stay visa application
• Complete, signed & printed on line visa application Form and two sets of photocopies of online printed form
• Original Passport valid for 12 months
• Two set of photocopies of all the pages of passport(s)
• 1 set of Original & 02 sets of Photocopies of documents as per the relevant checklist
• Two recent photographs.
• A3 size Prepaid courier service return envelope
Apart from the basic documents, applicants are requested to submit the requisite documents for the visa category applying for, together with your visa application. Please make sure that you have all the documents indicated in the list, since no visa application would be accepted if one or several documents are missing.
