I've been experiencing these with some codes I wrote with dev C++ when I want to run the compiled application. the console just shows and dissappears immediately.
I started inserting system''pause'' statement which alleviated the problem.
I downloaded some programmes that has the form of compiled C sourcecodes and when I click on it, I still have that problems, in this case am not the one who wrote it so can't edit it. what do I do to solve this problems?

@Movingcoil. There's nothing wrong with the console apps. They just close cause the code has run to the end. I suspect u want the console window to remain after the code is done. To have that effect use cmd.exe to run it. Hope u knw ur command prompt?
