nototribalist: Somebody is calling the attention of public that the money he budgeted for 2nd Niger Bridge and Okene-lokoja-Abuja road was reduced by NASS in the tune of 5bn and 3bn respectively and you can till type this thrash like a toddler: is second Niger Bridge situated in North or SW? Do you normally use your sense for intellectual reasonings at all? 4 Likes |

Even though good governance is the birth right of citizens, most governments would not serve you your rights on a platter of gold, least of all, a thieving government as is prevalent in black Africa. It remains that the progressives of the land must begin to teem in their masses everywhere, from the hamlets to villages, towns and cities to demand their unnegotiable rights to happiness and good things of life which God has long provided. They must rise up in progressive pressure groups,NOT POLITICAL PARTIES, to tackle government, one on one, on issues of accountability and probity on scarce public resources. Public spirited Pressure groups, without any affinity for government posts, must rise to equate and checkmate government to demand and obtain the God given rights of deserving citizens |

No institution of the black race can be trusted with power. Be it military, political, traditional or otherwise. They cannot control the influence of power. Only the presence of an equating checkmate can guarantee good governance in Africa. This potent checkmate must evolve from the neutral masses of people |

agabusta: When you want to reduce the narrative to a ludicrous level, you bring in borehole. Which state road are you talking about. Please let's remove sentiments. At this rate will the East West Road be completed? Look, we have federal roads that cuts across various constituencies. Forget what fashola said and look for the fact. That's the way to open your eyes. |

seanet02: Thomas Sankara is dead, he was assassinated which further proves the failure of "strong men" in drastically changing their country for the better. Today, Burkina Faso, a country of 18 million is one of the lowest in human development index, competing with the likes of Sierra leone and Somalia. Every country on earth has elites, even the pretentious Cuba and North Korea have elites that feed fat while their population go hungry. Kill some set of elites and another set grows to replace them. |

The APC have the majority in both houses, the PDP is comatosed. Without political opposition why can't things get done. Who is he complaining to. They wanted power, got it and still cannot perform. He should just shut it and sit down. Medoicre fellows. Is it today that the Legislature started vetting budgets. |
