Phones, Electronics are cheap in India and China because they have massive manufacturing industry and competition between all large players.

If you import ofcourse it will cost more, not to mention currency exchange as well.

You made a statement that is far from current realities on ground.

So who is more sincere here.

Do you know the hurdles seller face to ship things down and clear them.

Even non sellers are facing the brunt of Customs of recent with outrageous money slapped on duties.

So a seller before fixing a price we consider cost of purchase + Logistics (Shipping and Clearing) then profit.

No one will go into business with the mindset of losing. Let's be fair.

If you ask me there are better deals on this thread than out there the down side most times is location.

Where is the 40/45% markup of phones on this thread? Can you make a reference at least you should have a proof before saying this. What's the retail price of the note 8 currently? Will be expecting your responses.


For example if the note 8 4/64 is being sold for ₦70k at slot, a 40% markup would make it ₦98k. Aren't you grossly exaggerating here? It is not enough to come up with a long rant,make sure your fact is right.

If you want to buy an item and you feel the price is not right, you can just keep sourcing for a cheaper option cos there are different sellers with different prices. I can't call konga out for selling some items more expensive than jumia, Na to jejely enter jumia buy my stuff. Simple.

I think the major problem here is the exchange rate. sincerely, when u check prices on AliExpress and other platforms and try to do the naira conversion, u will ask these retailers how they're doing it.

its obvious you ain't in Nigeria to witness the [b]DEPRECIATION of NAIRA[/b]go around and check the xiaomi registered offline stores in Nigeria and see if his pricing is fair or not not to talk of the freebies that he included,for friend bought her redmi note 8(4gb/128gb) from one of the xiaomi accredited shop in Nigeria for 81k without freebies.This guy you called out is one the guys that sells phone for a reasonable prices, so if you have issue within yourself go trash out and leave NL out of it
