Dear, no need for all these. I just wanted him to spill it out that he is a Christian.

This is the religion section and all theists are believers. It's just the deity and mode of belief that's different. In a section like this you either say you are a christian or Muslim or any other.

No need arguing about this.

To muslims, unbelievers are called infidels or so. To Christians, they're mostly called unbelievers, then called heathens or pagans which is common to Abrahamic religion

It's better we confess Christ publicly by saying you're a Christian than hiding under the general theistic term - believer. Being a Christian goes straight forward and tells proudly who you represent than the word believer.

Even in English language, anyone who tells you he is a believer, you would want him to be specific to tell you who or what he believes in. It's better and more precise and specific, when one says 'I'm a believer in Christ Jesus'.

I told the friend I quoted that these days, even satanist call themselves believers. If English language has solved this issue, then I think I've done the little I can also and I hope you understand.

That's all i can say about the issue.

okay, I recently came to understand that its better to pray than to be trying to prove a point online. Ezek22:30, Luke18:1-8, 1Tim2:1-8, Is62:6-7, Is21:6 I.hope you understand

I want you to always go to the point and tell me exactly what you mean. Tell me what I do that made you give me such advice.

Is your reply related to this thread? If yes, I answered you to prove a point because you questioned my opinion as a Christian.

If it isn't related to this thread, then you should know there are soldiers with different and specific instructions, gifts and talents. Some are meant to be at the front of the battle field. Some are to be protected so as to solely give attention to the wounded. Some are to stay behind to be used as reinforcement when due.

No matter, how you look at it, all soldiers are not meant to carry out the same function. Some carry out a heavier duty than the rest.

What I'm trying to say is not all of us are prayer warriors. Mind you, I do not say not all of us should pray but some have that gift specifically. Personally, I intercede.

Here on nairaland, you mostly don't leave pointless points unattended to. it's like you saw a trap that can snare your fellow who you're stronger than and you do nothing about it when you can in your own way. Then you turn around going to God to do that for you. There are things we can do and that's our part, then what we can't do we leave it to God.

And you do not know how prayerful some are here. Not because you feel they don't please you means they are not. Not because you think you see them here mostly means they are not.

Every Christian cannot be you, if it happens so then Christians on nairaland will have issues. Every one cannot be me, because it would mean atheists would have a field day mostly. There has to be a balance. You do not let some threads or comments go unattended to like that for the sake of the elect. We don't just pray when there are threads deceiving the elect, we do both spiritually and physically.

And you have to know I'm not an angel. So I can't be praying 24 hours a day.

I can also take it that you felt like proving a point about the 'believer' issue but you preferred not to because you feel you should spend time praying to God. If that's the case, don't use prayer as a cover up because Christians are not the only ones called believers. There are better issues on nairaland to tackle and which gives an opportunity to save the lost and encourage the rest.

my reply has nothing to do with the thread. Its only the okay that has to do with the thread.

Ehmmmm, many times I use my reply to minister to people and many times, not really replying their former message or question

what i meant when i said trying to prove a point.

I have for some while now engaged in trying to prove to some atheist on NL that God is really out there and I think it doesn't have to do with the thread, well, we have our convictions

I would just says, I have lost my taste for religion section of NL, I have chosen prayer and intercession over endless hours of proving a point in religion section to those folks who's heart blinded

If you haven't visited the religion section, you wouldn't have been inspired to intercede to such extent, so you can't frown at the religion section now. If you don't visit it occasionally, it might become easier to lose the intensity of your intercession.

I noticed you're more concerned about the young ones in Christ, especially those new to this section. You can create threads for them. That's kind of your specialisation for now. You can maintain that or add more to your interest later as long as they bring glory to God and draw some souls to the kingdom.

Some are here to train soldiers in Christ like jiggaz. Some are here at the other side of the battle ground like alBHAGDADI - This guy seems to be chosen for winning souls from Islam and he does it with much passion, knowledge and grace.

Some are here to come face to face with the atheists before they say Christians are close minded and are unreasonable beings. So before they turn others to think they're godless, the soldiers meant for this role are already there to bring to null such counsel. Analice107, felixomor, kingebukasblog etc

Don't leave this section like that. Let it build you, let it give you bones so when you see nairaland in the real world, they won't move your emotions but rather move your spirit to holy anger and move you to bring something positive out of them all. Be someone who can be in the midst of demons, but still know how they reason, because you wouldn't be ignorant of their devices and you can sill stand your ground for Jesus and not be shaken.

My dear, some of us are hell razers. We're sent to hell to loose souls and that role isn't an easy one. This section is not a place for milk dear, but there are people in charge of babies here already. You can decide to be all over.

But I will take your advice, infact we will. Because in all these wars, we shouldn't forget to look into the mirror often and transform ourselves into the image of God while on the battleground. We shouldn't forget to have time to refill our lamp with fresh oil.

Your point is noted dear, but we need you here. We need you strong but spend time alone with God first interceding, till He moves you to come here occasionally or move you to a greater height different from all these.

If you were born in sokoto by Fulani parents, you would be a moslem. If you were born in India or China, you most likely would be a Hindu or Buddhist.

So what is my point? Religious affiliation is irrelevant to me. I have said it before that what matters is the individual. From your posts here, I can say you are nice person. alBHAGDADI is a nice guy. I have seen a clip where a Christian converted to Islam because he was move by the preacher. I also respect the preacher, he is a great person.

The population of Moslems is +2 billion, winning souls for Christ or Allah is irrelevant. What "heaven" needs is repentance and good behavior. Simple
