AntiIslam59: Those women I admire them because they have carried themselves with grace and dignity and have reached high positions in Life. You never see Amina Mohammed wear hijab or black niqab all in the name of purity. I also have the up-most respect for Amina Muhammad or at least the person she portrays to be. However, it seemed you did not understand the point I was trying to make in my previous post. I told you the human heart is weak.. I will give you an example. The Amina's dressing which you so much admire is nothing new, go to the north of Nigeria and most girls dress that way. However, they gone further to "modernize" it in a way that the dresses are so tight that their figure is clear to the eye, or the have a huge chunk cut off with cleavage on display. This is happening because the rules were relaxed a bit and "modernization". This will gradually slide and with time the gele will not be part of the dressing, with time they will be in bikinis.. Do you get it now? Purity is of the heart and its spiritual.Purity is of the heart and spirit, yes! In fact I stated that in my earlier post. However, the heart is like every organ, it's prone to diseases if you don't take care of it. If you have a pure heart and expose it dirt, hang around gamblers, drinkers, fornicators... before time that heart will be dirty. Islamic nations have the worst women rights recordWomen have more right in Islam than any other culture, that I stand by! However, do not mistake culture or selfish interest for Islam. Just because no schools are allowed for girls in Afgahanistan doesn't mean women are not allowed to acquire knowledge. A woman has the right to marry whoever she wants as long as he meets the basic requirements, not even her parents can force her to marry anybody. So Boko haram violated those girls against their will, that's if the girls didn't want them. Why must a yoruba woman wear that all in the name of purityLike I said again in my earlier post A Muslim has Islam as their first culture and any other culture comes after. So a Yoruba woman or man an Igbo person and Ijaw person, kanuri... if you are Muslim, then Islam is your first culture.***not Arabian but islam*** |
