I'm From The East, The Current Trend In Nairaland. by amjoseph19: 3:43pm On Jun 30, 2017
After doubting if Nmadi Kanu is speaking for the Majority of the South Easterners and South Southerns, The doubt was suddenly put to rest in the sit at home protest. and the turn out this past few days have cleared their mind of such thought. After millions of people have either stormed Kanu house or come out massively to show support to the IPOB leader.

Now, they have started a new trend. They have opted for propaganda. hoping to divide the struggle along state line. and it is still not effective one bit. Hardly will you read a topic in Nairaland this days without seeing someone claiming to be from anambra or any Easternmost state and how he/her detest Kanu, how kanu is trying to divide him and his family. Some of them have gone to the extent of making sure that their username has an eastern state attached to it, names like "obiAbia" "emekaAnambra" "IfeanyiEbonyi" "okpalaImo". To show how desperate they are.

But for your information, your propaganda is a waste of time. It has never been effective against the IPOB, it will never be. IGBO BU OFU. ANYI BU OTU.

Hearing them saying, " Kanu can't come from abia state to detect for us". "anambra people don't support biafra" lol...
The forgot that Ojukwu is the founder of biafra. When ojukwu declared Biafra, all the Eastern state believed in him. We all believe in Kanu.

You guys should not get it wrong, Biafra is not about kanu, it is far, far bigger than him. If kanu dies today, someone else will emerge.

to all the "I'm from the East", you guys should just rest, you are wasting your time. Revolution is here, Biafra is here.

Very shameful @op,

I can see a thread about anambra not being part of Biafra from a beer parlour group.

I cannot wrap my head around such a demon that would push a pple to such level of propaganda

I think it is high time we stopped replying those BMC crew running amok with Igbo names to destabilize us. The main thing is that Ipob is growing bigger and bigger daily and the real thing is happening in the streets out there not here. I have concluded to invite 1 out of my present 7 girlfriends on that day to take cool body unless I got a new chick before then. Every part of my body needs thorough operation (massaging) which will be carried out that day.

Chere godu Op. Õbu mmadu nine g' ekwere n' ihe õ bula Mazi Nnamdi Kanu kwuru?
So, because we all observed the sit at home directive that came from IPOB , seeing that it was good and in order to honor our fallen heroes and those who lost their lives in the Biafran struggle of 1967-1970. It then translates that even if N. K asks Igbos to eat shít we will do so
Let me remind you, 'Igbo E nwere eze'

they are desperate and also afraid. If Biafra is achieved, In few years time, their will be an Emir of oyo state, Emir of lagos. that's their greatest fear. that's why the are eager to do anything possible to prevent Biafra from coming into reality.

but, their propaganda won't work.

It will be very stupid of me to say that every igbo man support Biafra. They are those who doesn't and those who doesn't does not constitute upto 10%. That's from the little survey I carried out in the street. in a gathering of 20 Radom igbo ppl, i can bet you that 18 of them wants biafra.

but, the rate of "I'm from the East" has suddenly increased here in nairaland.

When Nigeria gained independence from the British, how many Nigerians were forced to go back to Nigeria? can you answer that.

Where is it written that you must go back to your region once your region secede?

and you guys will be claiming to be educated... you can't even differentiate between SECESSION and XENOPHOBIA.

Funny enough, IPOB foot soldier don't even have time for social media, they are glued to their radio Biafra or engaged in usefully discussion about the next IPOB unit meetings!

Thank you for being civil. For some of us who have lived among other tribes and come back home to contribute the little we can, I will agree with you that most want Biafra. But the way some of our people are going about it is wrong and may lead to AVOIDABLE blood shed.
I read today that Igbo Professionals (Igbo Kunie) are in support of referendum. That is the way to go. Secession in the rightful direction is a long and tedious road. But if we do it right, we will get there without shedding blood unnecessarily.

And that my brother is the unfortunate thing. We yab, Abõkis, as a every Allam with him radio/kettle but here you see our people believing without questions asked, everything that comes from Radio Biafra. This reminds of The Rwandan Genocidal war.

when kanu was asking for gun, I was totally against it. I'm not in support of war. We are not the abo*kis. now, he is asking of referendum. He has hardly talk of war ever since he returned from prison. I now support the motion.

yes he has never talked of war since his prison. Experiment. But his foot soldiers still do. Brother, I stay in Aba and I can't argue like this in public because you really don't know who you are arguing with. Unless you are on ground here, you won't understand what his earlier speeches has done to the psyche of some people.
