Trippledots: It was connected by an electrician using both AC/DC. So it auto switches between both ac and dc seamlessly without any need to turn it on when grid power outage. |

Trippledots: You mean the dc cable cable can charge the battery when there is grid power supply? Can you pls elaborate. I don't seem to understand your post. |

The 12.8v 172ah capacity checks out, I used it to around 2%(169ah used) voltage delta was ~10mv at 3.145ish, @valto. I left it to charge back(300w panel only for now) till next time I come back to it. 4 Likes |

Ooreofegrace: Buy and Do review for us, I asked the Seller some questions, but I didn't get any favorable response, I would recommend you go with a Known tested brand if possible DIY. 2 Likes |

Bro ow far. I'm experiencing data throttling down to 1mbps once i reached 1tb of data usage on the airtel 5g router. Have you experienced such because it shouldn'tbe as there is no FUP. Please do let me know your experience with such issues. Peterlove11: |

ajabani4allah: Probably worn out. You can use a syringe to apply lubricant into the motor to reduce the noise. As for the increased run time, I no really know. |

EduTechTainMent:I don't really understand, because normally the wall controller has two cables that is supposed to be connected to a battery bank. Once you leave those cables disconnected it works simply like an AC powered DC fan. Hope the electrician followed the connection diagram in the manual |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Trippledots(m): 4:49pm On Jun 20 |
EduTechTainMent: Yes, it the battery bank is strictly connected as a backup. See attached my own unit's battery cable left disconnected since I didn't put a battery bank there. Been running since 2022 with no issues, the only thing I noticed is that the wall controller doesn't work so I use the remote only.

Betnomore: I never experienced this although I use the ODU. Also I don't even bother checking my data usage since I know it's unlimited. I shared my experience here https://www.nairaland.com/8107167/airtel-unlimited-internet-subscription You could ask on there if any other users experience same issue 1 Like |

tivta: Best is to visit their customer centre and purchase one. There is an airtel agent on NL who maintains a thread and sells those units. I know some folks on here who bought from him. I think he is based in Ibadan. |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Betnomore: 6:53pm On Jun 20 |
I have done severally. Now its flunctuating between 2-7mbps after calling Airtel customer care. Airtel are very deceptive which I know from the beginning. My other airtel line is doing 40mbps per second. So it's not Network issue, rather they throttled it and if one doesn't complain vehemently, they expect you to use it like that EduTechTainMent: |
