I actually buy directly from the warehouse. That would prevent me from buying batteries with used up shelf life. They do not follow the FIFO rule in storage of batteries.

This is the mistake of buying from the gray market or resellers.

Resellers must eat too o (winks)

I guess it will act as both a fuse and an indicator to alert him when current from that battery exceeds a threshold value. It would also let him see from a glance if there's a problem.

I think we should give him his due credit. The route he took is quite a thing.@totalgreen01 took the time to ensure that his project is also safe for use by introducing fuses into the setup. The bank has everything a lithium battery setup should have (BMS, fuses, indicators etc). The bros tried in my own opinion.

I swear. The fire triangle is almost complete there. The wood is a combustible source, oxygen is always available and those batteries and their connection can provide an igniting force.
I wish the guy uses a less combustible enclosure material.
