I am not sure we are both on the same page on the meaning of communism,
it has nothing to do with government popularity,failure or hypocrisy.
Communism is almost dead in Russia.
Russia now has a whooping 96 billionaires, something that should
be alien to a true communist state.

Only 2 countries currently fits being termed communist, North Korea and Cuba.

anti-capitalist protesters. this is how it's been done in developed countries. the masses own the economy and once it gets to stringent due to reforms by government bodies who seek to favour the elites, they take it to the streets . it's a pity that's what is happening here in Nigeria that has been runninga full-fledged capitalist economy since the time of babangida . banks are always there to favour the rich and the gov't bodies make policies to favour the elites. and the common Nigerian masses are still comfortable with that. it's still a very long way to go for this country.

Though no human system is perfect, I tell you the truth, Capitalism is a much better economic system than Socialism. A move away from Capitalism is a move towards Totalitarianism and Communism. Make sure you understand exactly what Capitalism is before you make up your mind to support Socialism.
